Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s Top 7 Health Promoting Habits

By Tara McCarthy | Article

Dr. Rhonda Patrick is one of my favorite health gurus. She has a PhD in biomedical science, and her interests are in disease prevention, and health promotion through lifestyle changes.

Unfortunately she hasn’t written a book yet (I hope she does). So I wanted to summarize some of her top recommendations here for myself, and for readers who are interested.

1. Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s Micro-Nutrient Smoothie

The idea is to get all of your required daily vitamins and minerals in just one smoothie first thing in the morning so that you don’t need to worry (so much) about what you eat for the rest of the day. That’s the way I see it anyway.

2. Use A Sauna (Heat Exposure) And Cold Exposure Methods

3. Don’t Eat In The Evening Or At Night Most Days

4. Exercise. Both Cardio And Weight Training Are Beneficial For Different Reasons

5. Monitor Your Vitamin D Levels

6. Meditate

7. Get Enough Omega-3s
